Queen Ginevair swept through the halls of Linsameer Palace. She called to a few servants, who bowed and ran outside. She walked into the throne room and sat on her intricately carved wooden throne as several servants opened the doors. Now was the time for any person in the kingdom to see her for problems or any other thing. She smiled and placed one ahnd on the arm of her throne.

She kised his amne then motioned with ehr hand for the groom to lead him away. She waited for Eragon, Jacin standing beside her. She nodded to him and he went to a spot out of earshot.

I told Meircy to stop outside the castle and wait for me. She snortted and nodded her head. I then followed Queen Ginevair into the castle.

Ginevair smiled and led the way. She brought him to the Hall of Memory, where huge wall hangings depicted the history of the Elf Lands. She walked over to a magnificent maroon banner with names embroidered with great skill in gold thread.

I stood in awe when I saw the castle. I followed the Queen into the castle, telling Meircy to stay put, which she did.

Ginevair pointed to the banner. "These are the names of my ancestors... all the Kings and Queens, all the way back to King Jiklain and Queen Sunsil."

I looked at it. "Wow. That's a long list of names." I said lightly.

She smiled lightly and pointed to a blank spot on one end. "That is where the future Kings and Queens will be-- Until either the elves are no more, or we need to a new banner. We'd have needed one long ago if it weren't for our long lives." She smiled again, then turned to ehr guest. "Are you hungy, Eragon?"

At hearing the word 'hungry', I nodded my head. "Yes, your Majesty." I said, nodding my head. I heard someone. I turned my head, looking every which and way.

Ginevair motioned and a servant came forward. She gave him some quick instructions in Asterian, and he bowed and ran off. She smiled and placed her hand on Eragon's arm, leading him towards the east side of the castle.

It must have been my imagination. I allowed myself to be led towards the east side of the castle.

She paused before a wide, arched doorway with a long scarlet curtain hanging over it. "This is my bedroom. I'll be right back. Jacin will show you to the guest room, where you can freshen up." The fleet-footed messenger jogged over, bowed to Eragon, and motioned for him to follow. Ginevair nodded and stepped behind the curtain.

I nodded and followed Jacin.
The rider returns..........
There it was again. I had a creepy feeling it was Dursa again. No, it couldn't be Dursa....could it? I asked myself.

The small elf led Eragon into a large vaulted room, with a curtain separating a part of the room beside an intricately carved wardrobe. There was a large, soft bed against the north wall, with the south wall nearly completely glass. It looked over a serene lake with overhanging Weeping Willow. Jacin threw open the doors to the wardrobe, showing many fine suits of elvin make. He bowed to Eragon and slipped out of the room, motioning that he should make use of the clothes.
Ginevair walked into a similiar room, looking out at her view of a small meadow. A chestnut stallion grazed there, then raised his head with glittering eyes to look at the queen. She bowed to him, whispering on quiet lips an Asterian greeting. "Leno, defrae ok yomeni, friklin ok mi. Feerae." The horse bowed his neck, and a warm consciousness enveloped her's. It spoke in a warm English voice, thick with affection and pride. "Hello, queen of the elves and friend of me. Ginevair." She smiled and let the formal Asterian drop from her voice. "Feerae, have you seen them? You travel wider than I. Omna cannot travel so far as you, defying of humans." The horse reared, tossing his long, glorious mane. "I travel farther than all, friend of mine. I have seen them, but have not met them. The feeraelitians are more secretive with me than you, Ginevair. Now I have sensed the traveler, and you must ready yourself. I will wait, and later we can ride." The horse's warm mind dropped from her own and she turned to the wardrobe. She pulled out a long, sky blue dress and dressed herself, then pulled an intricate bone comb through her hair, tying it up and placing a small golden crown on top.
